Dental Developmental Defects
Developmental
Defects of teeth usually involve number, size, shape, color
and dental tissue quality. These defects could involve
either a sinlge tooth or a whole group of teeth. Reports
have shown that their presence causes both esthetic and psychological
problems in children.
Nowadays, the evolution
of restorative materials and techniques allow the Pediatric
Dentist to successfully restore these teeth and achieve the
desired esthetic result.
